An elegant garden wedding

Hello my lovely blog friends
I wanted to show you a beautiful wedding I designed just this last year.  The Mother and the Father of the bride have a most beautiful house and garden so they held the reception there.  The Mother had been avidly gardening for ages getting ready.  She grew the succulents that were potted in small mint julep cups and given away as favors.  I also cut several of her succulents and placed them into the floral arrangements.  The whole affair was truly beautiful, an old fashioned garden party with a very elegant feel.

The ceremony was held at the Mount Carmel church in Montecito. That is their beautiful get away car!

On the doors of the church were large fresh flower wreaths.  I wish they would stay that way forever, I would make some for myself!

The bridesmaids and their bouquets... yes there was quite a line up!

The boutonnieres.  We used Bells of Ireland to honor the grooms Irish heritage.

Do you know how many photos there are in people's wedding albums
of me pinning flowers on people?!  I can tell you that by the end of
several days of floral designing by hands are none too pretty!

This is the garden where the reception was held.

Below is the long head table.

Can you believe this garden!!!

It was an absolutely gorgeous wedding!

Blessings to all of you!
